How to Assign Promotion Codes

Create attractive discounts for your customers by utilising promotions. You have the choice to create your own promotion codes or have the Ventrata dashboard generate random codes.

Once your promotions are all setup, this is how you can assign them during booking in different modes of the Ventrata terminal app.

Terminal Mode



The Terminal mode allows you to select or apply pre-selected promotion codes with booked products.

Multi-code promotion



Create a booking with associated promotion codes.
Learn how to make a New Booking.

Select a promotion from the Promotion section.

Select Promotion

Select a code associated with the promotion.

Promotion with Multiple Codes
Remove a promotion by tapping on the promotion code. Then select a new one by tapping on the Select button.

Press the Add button to add new bookings or checkout.

Single-code promotion



Create a booking with an associated promotion.

Promotion Assigned

Press the Add button to add new bookings or checkout.

Kiosk and Concierge Mode



A customer using the terminal in Kiosk mode or a reseller using the terminal in Concierge already knows the promotion code. In both cases, the user must enter the code manually during booking. Below are examples of the Ventrata terminal app in Concierge mode.

Select a product in the Ventrata terminal app.

Select Product

Tap on the 'Enter Code' text in the Promotion Code section.

Enter Code
Remove a promotion by deleting the code. Then enter a new one using the onscreen keyboard.

If the code is correct, you may continue to fill in the booking form.

Code Accepted

Press the Add button to add new bookings or checkout.
