Particular checkout

After a + New Checkout is created, you may open it and see a page with even more customisable details. It’s divided into the following tabs:

Checkout Details
Branding
Meta Data
Claims
Banner Images
Button Layout
Embedded Layout
Navigation
Product Links
Redirects
Custom HTML

Checkout Details

Here you can see a summary of the information filled in when creating a checkout. It’s possible to edit all of them with the Edit Details button in the top right corner.

Branding

Here you can customise your checkout visually. You may upload:

Checkout Logo - this is used in the header of your checkout website. Ideally the logo of your company
Video - this is used on the homepage to show your checkout off
Favicon - this is used in the tab of your browser
Banner - this is the main banner on the homepage of your website
Skyline - this is used on the footer of the page

Meta Data

This is for SEO purposes.

Claims

Claims allow you to create text bar with a pop-up window below the navigation bar of particular product. You just need to use + New Claim:

Title - written on the text bar
Icon - used in front of the title (we use font-awesome, so you can Google the icons - they usually start with fa-, so fa-camera etc)
Description - the text in the pop-up window
Link
Products - where the claim is used

Banner Images

This allows you to upload a Banner Image for your homepage, you may even add a Title, Caption and Url to it.

In general, there are two different layouts:

Button Layout - in button layout mode you can copy in the following line of code and a button will appear within your existing website allowing customers to book tickets without ever leaving your site:

Simply copy and paste the below code to your website's HTML where you'd like the button to appear.

<script src="https://widget.ventrata.com/ventrata.min.js" data-layout="embed" data-color="#FFFF00" data-token="YOqmTwW1FjAft6mb-EbirA"></script>

Embedded Layout - In embedded mode the checkout is embedded directly within your website's existing content. This not only looks great, but also immediately gives the customer an overview of your products and prices.

Simply copy and paste the above code into your website's HTML where you'd like the checkout to appear.

Navigation

This allows you to customise your navigation bar.

To create a new navigation use + New Nav buttom and set the following:

Title - of the navigation
Parent Navigation - you may put another navigations under this one to make a dropdown menu
Header / Footer - where on the page does the link appear

You also need to choose the path for the navigation:

Page - a particular static page created in checkout
Article - such as a blog post
Category
Product
Redirect - to a custom web page according to URL
Destinations - assign a navigation to a particular destination

Links to specific web pages are displayed below the Add to Cart button on a product page. You just need to set Title, URL of desired page and the affected products.

Redirects

This is in case you need to have a page redirected to another. Say you’re migrating from a previous web. Or if you’ve had a long running promotion for it to appear on web searches and have decided to remove it. So that search engines don’t penalise you, we have this to automatically redirect (using 301 redirects).

Clear All, Export and Import buttons added to all key-value tables, like redirects. Will allow you to bulk set / change redirects in future without the need for a dashboard migration.

Custom HTML

This allows you to use a custom HTML editing of a checkout.

Pages

Here you can create custom web page for your web checkout. Hit + New Page button and set:

Checkout - to which page belongs
Destination - to which page belongs
Available languages - multilingual options
Active - makes the page active or inactive
Show header - whether it will be shown in a header
Show footer - whether it will be shown in a footer
Title - of the page
Destinations - this will assign a navigation to a particular destination
Meta - this is for SEO purposes
Body - custom HTML editing

Articles

This is similar to Pages, but it’s more like a blog post. Hit + New Article and set:

Checkout
Destination
Available language
Title
Keywords
Description
Meta
Body

If you open particular Article, you may even upload Cover Image.

You may also create + New Recomendation with:

Name
Cover
Tickets url
Description

Events

This was meant to be something like articles except indexed by date, so we could show it in a calendar. It’s not used currently, anyway you can create a new Event by + New Event button, it needs:

Checkout
Destination
Cover
Available languages
Date
Time
Duration
Name
Description
Meta
Body
