1. Introduction, Activation and logging in to an account
Introduction The Ventrata app allows you to sell and collect tickets for your products on selected hardware devices. It works in several modes — this is a manual for the Seller mode. 2. Starting a shift
After successfully logging in, you will be navigated to a page where you can start a shift by choosing the location you will be selling at or to a dashboard page in case there are no locations set in your admin account. 3. Overview of the app
When you start your shift, you open the Dashboard page which shows the seller’s name at the top. The app has seven main menu buttons located at the bottom of the screen. These are from left to right; ● Dashboard ● Scan / QR Code ● Sales ● Bookings ● Help ● Messages ● Settings The coloured button indicates the page that you are currently on.
4. Dashboard page
The Dashboard page shows you the current status of your sales. You can see the total sales you have made and how many of these were paid by card, cash or voucher. Where targets have been set this will also be displayed.
5. Sales page
The Sales page is accessed by a Plus (+) button at the bottom of the screen At the top of the page there is information regarding the currency that has been set. Clicking this button will allow you to change the currency if you have allowed other currencies in the admin account. The same way you can also change the seller and the location (all of this is settable on the location level).
6. Scan page
On the Scan page you can collect tickets from customers. You access this through the QR code button at the bottom of the page. You can either scan a ticket’s barcode or type a booking reference code into the search bar at the top. There is a lightning button you can tap (at the top right) in case the photo looks too dark. 7. Manifests page
On the Manifests page there is a list of all the bookings (manifests) you have for that day. You can check your manifests for next days using the calendar options. Manifests are for drivers - a user role can be set up as a driver in the admin account. (Ticket Terminals > Sellers).

The Customer Support page is accessed by clicking the question mark button at the bottom of the screen. 9. Messages page
This page is accessible by the button in the shape of a triangle. This feature is used to communicate internally and sends messages from terminal users to the admin dashboard. When you click on this page, you have a list of all the messages that have been sent to your terminal from the admin (messages’ templates are created in Terminals > Messages). 11. Quick Sale Flow
Quick Sale is the fastest way to sell a ticket. To access the Quick Sale page see chapter 5. To sell a ticket on the Quick Sale page you should first select the time a customer wishes to take the tour. Use the buttons Today, Tomorrow and Other day. These are available at the top of the page. 13. Reseller Voucher flow
When a customer comes with a voucher from a reseller, you start the Reseller Voucher flow by clicking the Reseller Voucher button (see chapter 6). You can also start this flow by directly scanning the voucher (more on this in chapter 16). You can select which reseller the voucher is from through a list of resellers.
14. New Retail Purchase flow
The New Retail Purchase flow is for selling items that are set in the admin account in Products > Items section. This flow can be accessed either in a shopping cart when making a booking or on the Sales page. Both times the flow starts with pressing the New Retail Purchase button. 15. Hotel Deposit flow
This flow is for customers who have paid a deposit and received vouchers. By clicking this button a reseller can sell bookings when the customer pays the rest of the booking. You can start this flow by clicking the Hotel Deposit button on the Sales page (the + button at the bottom of the screen). You can scan several different things with the Ventrata app - promotion codes, voucher codes, scan city passes and tickets. Promotion codes for scanning you have to set up on a specific promotion (Products > Promotions) by clicking the Generate Random button.
