What is Ventrata Widget
Ventrata widget is used by your clients for booking via web checkout.
It's part of each product page on ventrata web checkout, but it can be also integrated into external websites.
All you need to do to enable it is to copy paste the unique string of HTML code, which you can find in Web Checkout - Checkouts section.

Bookings
Customer - refers to the person who made the reservation
Status - refers to the current status of a reservation:
Redeemed - already used. All orders made through a point of sale are redeemed because they are sold as entrances
Part Redeemed - partly used. Not all includes have been redeemed, in the case of packages
Balance Due - the outstanding amount to be paid
Cancelled - annulled

1. Creating a mailjet key and adding it to Ventrata
To access Mailjet go to mailjet.com and create new account.
Click on the icon with your name at the top right corner and select Account settings.

How to create a resource
From the dashboard, select Product Resources

One of the most common issues you may encounter is a situation when your product looks like it has no availability, even if it should have, hence it cannot be booked at all. There is a couple of things to check in such a case.
1. Product details
Look up a particular product in the Products -Products section and click on this icon.

There is a new support for operators in Ventrata. In case if operators will not get all bookings update emails you can allow them to get notifications.

Right now during cancellation of some booking it is not possible to create a new cancellation reason.
Ventrata refactored this feature and there are different cancellation reasons listed in a drop-down menu from which the client has to choose from:

To log into the concierge portal, visit your exclusive website (e.g. agent.yourdomainname.com) and sign in using your credentials. It's listed in Supplier Settings details.

Gift cards are a new feature in Ventrata that allows customers to purchase a voucher, for any amount they wish, that can then be used to purchase any of your products. These can be redeemed both on the customer-facing website and on the backoffice by staff
Selling gift cards online
Gift cards can be purchased on your website at any product checkout. On any product page you will see a Buy Gift Card button in the top right above the calendar and ticket options.

The custom receipt templates are a new feature that will allow you to create a custom receipt for any specific product. It will allow you to include copy, advertisements, any legal requirements, or anything else product-specific on a per-product basis without affecting your familiar, global receipts that print for all other products.
Creating a New Template
To create a new receipt template:
Click on Products and, at the bottom of the list, choose Receipts. This will take you tPopularBalance Payments Through the Website
Until now, the only way to pay for bookings that had a balance due was to collect the card details over the phone or take the money when they showed up with their voucher.
Now, when you press the Email Receipt button on an order and send a receipt, it will bring up a Pay Balance Now button. This will take customers to the web checkout and allow them to pay the remaining balance, after which they will receive their tickets.

Printing variables are used to customise your transaction, booking or ticket receipts. They allow you to insert specific information on the printed receipt, which can vary from case to case. You can see the list of current printing variable below. At the bottom you can see a matrix of usage of particular variables divided into Transactions, Individual and Group sections.

Ever wondered how to change the order of particular products in various categories on a web checkout? It's easy and takes just few steps, including Featured Products on a homepage and All Tours and Activities category.
The principle is always same - go to the Products - Categories and open the category you would like to reorder.

This is important for operators that run with limited availability resources (such as for city tours) or that need to meet and greet clients beforehand (such as for small guided tours). Bear in mind that they will have access to all the booking information, but won’t be able to make any changes to bookings.

Once a sales shift is ended, Ventrata allows cashiers to start doing the shift reconciliation, making sure that the amount of cash, card, and vouchers that have been brought in correspond to the sales that the seller has made through the applications. These may differ because of errors on part of the sellers, money is lost, etc.
The cashier is a user with access to the shift management tool in Ventrata backend, and their responsibility is to check what the sellers turn in anPopularCommunication with Sellers
Ventrata allows for a limited communication between the operation and the terminals, so you can send messages to individual sellers or to a particular location directly via Ventrata dashboard. The communication can also happen from terminal to operation. You can find this functionality at the Ticket Terminals -Messages section.

This functionality allows you to dynamically control the pricing by the time before departure and by the actual availability. It's called Fares in the dashboard and you can find it on a product level.
To create a new Fare use + New Fare button and set any of the following:
Name - how you want to call the fare
Conjunctive Operator - OR / AND

Roles determine which actions a particular user is authorised for. To create and assign a role go to the Account Settings (via Admin section which is labeled with your name at the top right corner of a dashboard).

The Table View in Ventrata is a method of seeing all of the data in a way similar to a pivot table. It will let you filter all the data stored in the database and create reports. Another nice feature is that it will save your views so that you can always see it this way!
The Search Feature
Every search feature has a search bar on the left side where you can type and look for specific data. Next to it, there is the button Saved Searches. The right side consists of three buttons - ShPopularBlocked Shifts
Sometimes you may come across Blocked shift in your shift overview in Ticket Terminals -Shifts section. It's one of the statuses.
